Sampling will be done from 4/20/2004 to 4/23/2004.

Crew members from Woods Hole arrived Sunday, 4/18; crew members from WRD and ECU arrived Monday, 4/19.

Nutrient Team, headed by Tim Spruill (USGS WRD, Raleigh)

Ground Water Team, headed by Beth Wrege (USGS WRD, Raleigh)

·Collected several lines in the Neuse River from Minnesott Beach towards Cedar Island

Team 2
·Set several points on the Neuse River looking for ground-water contributions to surface-water.

Team 3
·Collected water samples from Strat Well 5 and 6 for radon and radium
·Set Rad 7™ to measure radon and radium inflows from ground-water to surface-water in Slocum Creek
·Continuous monitor left onsite overnight and is still collecting data
·Surface-water samples were collected in Hancock Creek and are being processed for radium
